Cookie Policy

Short version

We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate traffic statistics, which may set cookies in your browser under Google's privacy policy. We do not link this data to personal identifiers or use it for ad targeting.

Separately, we use browser localStorage (not cookies) to remember your favorite games and recently-played history — this data lives only in your browser and is never sent to our servers.

What we store in localStorage

• favorites — list of game slugs you have hearted, so we can show them on the Favorites page and the “Your favorites” home row.
• history — recent game slugs you have visited, used for the “Continue playing” row on home.
• sidebar:state — whether your sidebar was last expanded or collapsed (set by the shadcn sidebar primitive). This is also stored as a cookie by the primitive for SSR consistency.

All of the above can be cleared by your browser's “Clear site data” option, or by opening DevTools → Application → Local Storage → cutegames.net → delete.

Third-party cookies inside embedded games

When you play a game, the embedded iframe loads from a third-party publisher (gamemonetize.com / gamedistribution.com / similar). Those iframes may set their own cookies for ad serving, analytics, or save-game features under their own privacy policies. cutegames has no control over cookies set inside iframes.

Future advertising

Once advertising is enabled (e.g. Google AdSense), ad partners may set cookies under their own privacy policies. We will update this page and add a consent banner for visitors in regions that require opt-in (EU/UK GDPR, EEA) before any ad-targeting cookies are set.
